Slush is a new online literary journal dedicated to publishing fiction.
The journal seeks short stories, micro|flash fiction, prose poems and other hybrids that play with form to split and skew expectations.
Slush is searching for good stories well told, stories that try something new and stories that may not necessarily find a home elsewhere.
Produced across four issues in 2026, SMUT was a zine that ran for four issues and published short fiction and poetry from local writers. It was sold at the Sticky Institute and the Paperback Bookshop.
Each issue was handmade with individually selected archive photographs for each piece of writing.
I'm only one half of the team behind SMUT. Tash is a podcaster, journalist, writer and is the incredibly talented designer that made each issue of SMUT look brilliant.
I live, work and study on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded. This is, and always was, Aboriginal land.
